this place no longer in business, replaced with wine store
I wrote on my last review that I found it hard to order in this restaurant because all the menus are written in their original Uyghur names. Today, I accidentally found a PDF of this restaurant's main menu on halal.or.jp, completed with explanation in English and other languages. So here it is peeps, for no more confusion.
Decided to celebrate Eid Adha with something meaty then we're suggested by one mufti from NAHA to come to this newly halal certified restaurant in Sugamo. The place is clean and prettily decorated with Uyghur ornaments. The foods are mostly made from lamb and were so tasty and nice. However, we found it confusing to order from the menu books which were written in Uyghur language and Japanese, complemented with a very few pictures only. Since there's no English translation, so we ended up ordered those things on the pictures: something like dumpling, skewers, sautee and we asked also for rice and naan. Turned out that all the meals were ok, we liked them so much, but slightly surprised to know that Uyghur naan is not a kind of naan we usually find in curry restaurants but just like a hard and cold bread.
