How we checkedChecked 2026-09-21: the brand's own halal policy page states "In 2004, Secret Recipe obtained the Halal certification by JAKIM. Every aspect of the company ranging from raw ingredients, kitchens, factories to network of premises are all certified Halal." Source: secretrecipe.com.my/halal-policy. The JAKIM public directory lists Secret Recipe Cakes & Cafe Sdn Bhd, reference no JAKIM.700-2/3/2 001-12/2003, registered at the company's Petaling Jaya head office, with no outlet addresses, so there is no certificate naming the Ipoh Parade outlet. The outlet itself appears on the brand's own store locator and is trading.
Secret Recipe says it has been halal certified by JAKIM since 2004 and that all its premises are covered. We could not find a certificate naming this outlet. Checked September 2026.
