Papparich is normally packed at meal hours like 12 pm lynch or 6pn dinner. But luckyvfor us, we settled for a lovely late lunch at 3, when the resteraunt was blissfully quiet and mainly empty, save for a few tables of friends enjoying big plates. We were seated immediately and were given a menu. With so many options, it's hard to choose! But looking closely they're basicly the same dishes but with slight variations. I live the way u order bcos being a socially anxious little bean i hate ordering you know l, verbally. We just wrote down the numbers of the dishes and pressed the buzzer. It was lovely to watch the chefs in the somewhat open kitchen setting. Our meals came quick, and boy how delicious!! I liked the pappa mee goreng the best, but my dad gave a 10/10 for the beef rendang. When we finished we were (full) but hungry for more!! Alhamdulillah, finally a new place to review! This time, it's for PappaRich Wellington. It's a very famous franchise restaurant based in Malaysia, now opening its second branch in New Zealand. The first branch is in Auckland :) As Malaysians who misses Malaysian food so much, we rushed to the restaurant right after class! They even had the write-your-own-menu style like they did in Malaysia. If you're not familiar with it, you will first be given a menu and each meal/drinks have its own code. You'll be given a paper and pencil to write down the code and quantity of each meal that you'd like to order. Then, you'll have to push a button on the utensils holder to call a waiter who'll collect that paper. So convenient! When we came, the atmosphere is quite noisy as the restaurant is full.
