This is just your average malay self-serve eatery. There is one dish that stands out though.
Some kind of spicy fried chicken with herbs and curry leaves (but dont taste like curry). This one is splendid! If I eat here in the morning or afternoon I will definitely take a piece of it. Then I grab a bunch of those herby crispy stuff to put on my rice, aaaah its delicious!
Not just the crispy stuff. The chicken is also very well cooked and perfectly seasoned. You can taste those herbs absorbed very perfectly in that moist tender chicken.
I put some malay curry sauce on my rice together with the crispy stuff from the chicken to give an extra variety of spice flavor, and especially to give a contrast of crispy-wet soft (must be careful not to soak the crispy stuff).
I usually take one type of veggies. I love kangkung but not quite a fan of belacan. But this time its just normal kangkung which is okay.
