I was in a group of two with one luggage. I don’t know what’s the deal with the cashier/reception. He greeted everyone who enters the restaurant but us. I asked nicely if i can place my luggage somewhere. He immediately replied with arrogance ‘NO!’. While we were queuing for the waiting list, he gave us the cynical look. We took off as we felt unwelcome. I think he could learn some manner. If you can’t cater people with luggage then just say so. Not all Japanese is polite. I suggest you to ditch this place and go somewhere else. I recommend Yoshiya Shinjuku Branch. Located at B1 in Odakyu shopping mall, a little challenging to get to the restaurant, just find the elevator near Bvlgari, and it is in front of the elevator at B1.

This muslim-friendly place is opened till 5am in the morning. Very near keio plaza hotel, Shinjuku. Serves only seafood. No meat at all. Food is very good and fresh. Sushi was great! Must try the eel....it was delicious!!
