Crab Shack is a must-go restaurant if you come to Wellington. They have a branch in Auckland too, though. When you enter the restaurant, you will feel as if you're in a fisherman's shed as the decoration features various fishing gears creatively. It's suitable for various occasions, but during lunchtime and dinner it gets a bit busy. They have a variety of choice in their menu, so don't worry. Their seafood is very much reccommended, as it's their specialty. We love their chilli butter crab as well as their seafood tacos. Their soft shell crab tacos is to go for! Also, they have different special offer everyday, so be sure to ask for the special menu when you come. When we came, we asked the manager about the brands they use for chicken and beef, and he confirmed that they use halal brands.
