Tahini Lebanese Diner is hidden smack bang in the middle of the city. We casually found this place while looking for a halal place to eat as the one we initially went into was no longer halal. Starved and hangry I was desperate for food. I was so relieved to have stumbled across this gem while walking through what seemed like a food junction for workers during lunch and there lies this beautifully designed restaurant around the corner. The ultimate giveaway was the arabic signage which I couldn't understand but made me ask the staff if it was halal and she gladly replied that it was fully halal. It is licensed though as I noticed a couple of alcoholic drinks down the back. But I was indeed starving and all I wanted to do was eat.
