Last time I came here was 2014 and we enjoyed the duck egg and french toast. Fast forward almost two years later it's good to know they are still on the menu. Nothing much has changed here at Ascot Food Store but that doesn't mean anything bad at all. In fact, they don't need to change because they're THAT good. If you don't believe me, have a look at their instagram. Their 10k+ followers and mouth watering pictures will convince you. AFS has pretty much set the standard of for cafe quality food and coffee in this hood. Where else can you find a lobster burger, duck egg, apple wood smoked ocean trout and a whole elongated list of items on their menu all with a presentation to kill. Not to mention halal! Yes, it was very hard to believe that this place is halal but it is. We had to confirm a few times verbally and in writing (no certificate though) and yes, it is.
