5-min walk (272 m) from Umekōji-Kyōtonishi Station. The prayer space is located inside the museum, under a staircase. Ask the staff at the information counter for the 'Muslim Prayer Room' after entering the museum, and they will guide you there and set up a separation screen.

A prayer space INSIDE THE MUSEUM is given under the stairs. Just ask the information counter for “Muslim Prayer Room” and someone will guide you to the small area and put up a separation screen. Wudhu’ can be performed by using your own bottle spray or other methods. Alhamdulillah.
Note: Location on map is slightly off, but close. Just ask information counter inside museum after entry.
