Actually Qiji is pretty well known among the muslim community here. I personally like the nasi lemak because their sambal is just the bomb. You can request for extra sambal with no charge. Loveee the fragrant rice. For nasi lemak, they have a few variety to choose from. I always choose the one with boneless chicken because I am lazy haha. Do try out their chestnut drink and ice milk tea. My mum loved the chestnut drink so much, she bought extra to bring home lol. Another must try is their popiah, there is always a long queue for this! Price for each nasi lemak set is from $5 to $6.50. They have a few outlets in Singapore like in Century Sq, Heartland Mall, One km mall.

If you go to Qiji, don't forget to try their famous popiah or fresh spring roll. The generous fillings includes turnips, bean sprouts, eggs, lettuce, a spread of sweet chilli sauce and prawns (based on my observation) wrapped with homemade popiah skin. The one I got here is not spicy but you may request so. Don't forget the laksa. What's interesting about Qiji's laksa is that the noodles are made from brown rice! For those who doesn't know what laksa is, it's a noodle dish in coconut milk and curry soup base. Regular laksa cost SG$4.30 but with additional of clams (and I really mean generous amount of clams) is SG$5.30 They also have nasi lemak (coconut rice) and home-made barley drink. I would say a fusion of chinese-malay dishes in here. Give it a go!
